Three fashion styles in 2015 that did not work
Fashion is one of the biggest industries in the world, and we can understand why by just looking at fashion magazines. We spend a lot of money and time trying to fit the latest trends, but things don’t always go as planned. 2015 was a great year for fashion but there are some styles that just did not work.
- The Boho style. In the beggining of 2015, many designers tried to promote a fresh fashion style, filled with flowers, bandanas and peace signs. Although this was very popular in the 1060’s, it was not as successful as expected. Classic, dark toned dresses were preferred instead of long, colorful skirts. Also, women seemed to prefer relaxed curls instead of natural hair decorated with flowers.
- Yoga pants. That is the word that everyone seemed to know, but not many seemed to like. In many parts of the world these pants are very popular so the deisgners thought that they can turn this into a new fad. However, people realized quickly that these pants belong in gyms and not on elegant runaways. This trend was dead right before it started, and it was impossible to resuscitate!
- Pointy shoes. Pointy, elegant shoes may look chic but the ones presented on the runways were rather ridiculous. The tip of the shoe was way too sharp and long and it looked not only ridiculous, but also uncomfortable. Even the most fashionable people avoided this trend and preferred a more classic and comfortable approach.
- Large scarves. Scarves are classy and fashionable but not when they cover half of your body. Then they look like a poncho. Even though some celebrities made an appearance with what seemed to be a blanket wrapped as a scarf, the rest of the world did not adopt this trend.
