Limitations of the study
According to Kim, this study was limited by two factors: One was the observation of changes in exercise frequency based entirely on questionnaires provided by the older population. Second, information is missing for other types of physical activity such as housework and muscle-strengthening activities.
In addition, the researchers were not able to assess why some participants changed their fitness levels.
