Do not eat after 8pm
This rule is similar to intermittent fasting, which aims to reduce the pressure on the digestive system, providing enough time for the body to metabolize energy before going to bed. Doctor Yan recommends eating at least 3 hours before bedtime to promote metabolism as well as ensure sleep quality.
No extra calories between meals
This rule encourages not eating anything more between meals during the day, except water. This way helps reduce calorie intake throughout the day, focusing only on main meals and eliminating unhealthy snacking habits – one of the easy causes of uncontrolled weight gain.
Eat three meals
Dr. Yan believes that you should eat three meals a day when losing weight, not necessarily skipping any meals as well as being too strict. Instead of skipping meals, doctors recommend eating each meal with a moderate dose and applying it in the following order: Drink 200 ml of filtered water before meals – eat meat, fish, protein foods – vegetables – starch – fruit.
