After learning and knowing what Booster is, you will definitely want to experience it, right? And in today’s article, Paula’s Choice will guide you to use booster properly to help you overcome specific skin problems effectively and optimally.

What is Booster?
Booster is a commonly understood concept that means “enhanced nutrients” or “enhanced essences”. They are sometimes referred to in simpler terms such as: Pre Serum or Pre Essence. In fact, Booster has a dense texture with a very high concentration of nutrients and is suitable for each treatment need and condition.
What are the uses of Boosters?
- Soothes irritated and reddened skin caused by sunburn
- Hydrate and hydrate dry, aging skin.
- Improves uneven skin conditions, brown spots, melasma.
- Balances, strengthens the foundation and ensures the health of the skin’s resistance.
- Increases the absorption and absorption of nutrients in the next steps.
- Replenish energy so that the skin is “awakened”, stimulating the movement and regeneration of new cells.
What is the difference between booster and serum?
The role in skin treatment of Serum and Booster is to treat and activate the essence contained in the serum, so the booster is considered the foundation of the serum. And for the best and fastest treatment effect, you should combine Booster with serum together.
Thanks to the booster, you will take full advantage of the benefits that the serum has, the treatment and recovery time will be shortened, the health and resistance of the skin will also be improved. However, for normal skin, the booster will be a perfect step to help strengthen the skin’s self-defense ability, prevent skin problems from appearing and guide to using the booster.
Using Booster as a daily skin care product is very beneficial for the skin.
What kind of skin conditions is Booster suitable for?
The use of treatment products must depend on the composition, disease and skin condition before being treated. So Booster will be suitable for skin conditions when there are symptoms:
- Blemishes, dull and uneven skin tone
- Dehydrated, dry and dehydrated skin
- The skin shows signs of aging and wrinkles, sagging skin….
The reason Booster has become a sought-after beauty product
Booster in cosmetics is a liquid-textured, fast-absorbing booster skin care product. Booster has the effect of activating and awakening the functions of the skin, allowing the skin to better receive nutrients and treat skin problems. Besides, it also provides moisture to the skin and evens out the skin tone using the booster

With Paula’s Choice, we’re always looking for ways to improve skin’s appearance. This has inspired us to develop special treatments we call boosters.

Each Paula’s Choice booster contains a concentrated ingredient or a specialized group of ingredients in a higher concentration than you’d normally find in products like moisturizers or serums. This formula enhances skin’s improvement for faster, more dramatic results. It targets specific skin problems such as enlarged pores, dehydration, dull skin, loss of firmness, wrinkles and more.
The lightweight, non-greasy texture makes the booster ideal for easy pairing with other skin care products.
Instructions for using Booster to save damaged skin
Check out our booster usage guide to customize your skin care routine and get the best results during use, you’re sure to be impressed:
Booster Paula’s Choice is designed to be versatile, powerful yet gentle, and easy to combine with other products in your skincare routine.
- For all Paula’s Choice skin care routines, we always recommend that you start with a cleanser, toner, and then an exfoliator.
- The next steps in the skincare routine are applied in a consistent order. This means that products with a liquid texture are used first and products with a denser texture are used later. If all of your products are liquid and lighter, the order doesn’t matter.
- During the day, the last product you should use is a sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher.
- Paula’s Choice Booster Serums can be applied alone in a separate step, as often as 1-2 times a day, or whenever your skin needs it. Some people like to mix it with a moisturizer or serum. There are really no rules to follow, our booster usage is customizable to fit the needs of our customers.
